One of the first records I ever picked up* at that legendary Tower Records in SF and us Santa Cruzans were intrigued.
*I say "picked up" because I was too young to be working yet, had zero money, and a generous family member took me there and told me to have a look around and pick a few things out.
[What in the everloving f**k motivated someone to call them "jangle pop"? Alt is meaningless. Indie is farm league. Weirdly, if anything, they're super influenced by some sort of Eastern European busking style or something. (This would never get made today because ...so many reasons)]
There was a video? What? Why? On VH1? I'm afraid to look, will have to set this down for a few.
