Another thread from earlier today has me thinking about kick-ass new music, across all genres and languages, made in just the last year or two. I'm gonna drop breadcrumbs here to keep that other thread focused on janglepunk stuffs.
Let's start with Buzzard's "The Bombings Will Continue Until There's Peace b/w Cinderella's Midnight Surprise," because I just listened to this fantastic pair of songs again and Buzzard is as good a place to start as any.

Yesterday I wrote that this year held some surprises for me in the hardcore / metalcore scene, and I shared two new records from Converge. Today I bring you another new record from another band that has been kicking ass since I was in middle school:
Peace In Place by Poison the Well
The new records from Converge were a pleasant surprise, but they'd published new music as recently as 2021. This new album from Poison the Well came as a total shock to me, since I thought the band was done making music when their last album, The Tropic Rot, dropped in 2009.
Poison the Well goes hard in Peace In Place, and I hope the band plans to continue making new music for the foreseeable future.
